I live in Northern California and currently sitting on my property in the middle of a Evacuation order... The reason we got fires is many things. #1 over 50% of the state is federal owned #2 bad leadership #3 Poor forest management #4 State focuses on fires near large populations and put the national land fires as low priorities.
Just look at the August Complex fire in California, It started in mendo and was treated as a low priority and now its largest fire in California. The fire has traveled over 3 hours on direct straight line south or 5 hours on our shitty roads... that is why we want to leave the state of California for the State of Jefferson.....
If you straightened the fire out in a line it would stretch from Ruth Lake Trinity County to Los Angeles.....
