The Democrats have made a major push to convince their voters to vote early by mail. Republicans will vote predominantly on election day. Democrats need to have a massive, massive early vote advantage to have any chance.
The thing is, election day is just one day, and if some people need a ride, there's not enough time to ferry all of them to the polls. It has to start NOW, as soon as possible, to get as many people as possible to the polls. "Not giving the Dems an idea of how many votes they need to fake" (as some other pedes mentioned) won't be of much use if the Dems have to fake much fewer votes because half the GOP voters didn't show up to begin with.
It works this way every cycle. More Democrats tend to vote early. More Republicans tend to vote on election day.
I suspect many Trump voters will wind up voting early this year because they're afraid of problems on election day, but honestly, who in their right mind would vote a month before the election? A few days before election day is sufficient.
I don’t know man. Election analysis is Styx’s strength, but this election is too different to apply normal logic to. I don’t believe that with Biden’s enthusiasm gap his supporters will show up strong on Election Day. His people will more than likely do their thing now. People must remember, it’s dems who are the most scared of Coronavirus. And are they truly enthusiastic enough for Biden to override that? Probably not.

Trump has abandoned Michigan. It's bad news for John James but the Trump campaign is very low on money bc Parscale wasted much of it on bullshit. Holding PA is much more important, demonrats are pumping money into the state like never seen before.
