Bullock said that if Coney Barrett was confirmed, he would be open to measures to depoliticize the court, including adding judges to the bench, a practice critics have dubbed packing the courts.
This is Olympic level mental gymnastics to obfuscate the point. What a shitshow. I bet this is seeding the narrative for future reporting on court-packing.
Looks like this is the only time they have ever used this term (warning, Google link):
Packing the court is stacking the deck, putting your thumb on the scale.
The democrats will just call it something else, "depoliticizing". Harris also in the debates referred to this as an issue of racial diversity, as in SCOTUS is too white.
Ok so beat them to the punch: pack the court with black and women conservatives until there’s an equal number of whatever races and genders they’re touting at the moment.
Spez: The downvotes for discussion is getting pretty ridiculous on here

This is typical of the moral and intellectual bankruptcy of Democrats. They view opposing views as "partisan" and their own views as "apolitical", so naturally they would refer to packing the courts with Democrats as "depoliticizing" them.
The Democrats and their misleadia in my town have been crying about partisan politics in our local government ever since they lost control of the city council a couple of years ago. The newspaper is even running a series of front page articles about it, placing all blame on the council members that aren't supported by Democrats, in a blatant attempt to influence the local elections. Their solution to the "partisanship"? Running three far Left active Democrats for city council and mayor.
We don't. It would require 2/3 majorities, which means it requires most of the Democrats to actually act like rational adults who care about their country.

If you try to play their game, you will lose. Don't give an inch. Reject their bullshit cries of racism and laugh in their face. Stop cowing.
We've already played into their game by not even considering a man for the seat
Then they'll just fall back to the claim that they are "depoliticizing" the court.
"At the moment" of course being key, because there are always ever smaller and smaller boxes that the left can divide people into.
"We don't have any mentally retarded trans Muslims on the Court REEEEE"
This is downright Orwellian. "If we can't get the public to support this, we're changing the definition."
And if it does happen, they’ll never need public support for anything again. Scary, isn’t it?
Marriage.

We need a Ginsburg Amendment. Limit SCOTUS to 9 seats.
Change standing in all federal courts.
Do we actually have the numbers to pull off an amendment tho? or is it reliant on us winning this next election bigly.

So I guess the Democrats and MSM would be fine with Trump "depoliticizing" the SCOTUS after he's reelected?
Only if he nominates far-left dems
