I was thinking that looked like western Montana, specifically between the Swan and Mission mountain ranges. My wife and I spend a lot of time in that valley. I love it there. Want to move there so bad but all our kids and grandkids are here in Washington.
We are in the next valley west. Depending on where in WA your family is, you could be at their dinner table in anywhere from 3 to 8hrs drive. Spokane is our big city.
