So one of the guys in my battalion is a praciticing Sikh, well not too long ago, we started working out together. And we started hanging out a lot. And our battalion because they had us on lockdown so we couldn't take block leave in the summer. We got to make up for it recently.

Well, before i left to go home, I posted a photo of one of my gym workouts with my buddy.

Well my one cousin is a complete baby freshman at a four year university and is basically drinking the kool aid, and she knows I voted Trump, and starts bitching at me as to how I can have a muslim friend and still vote Trump.

Well my buddy goes 'I'm not a muslim I'm a Sikh.' Well....she then pisses him off because she apparently thinks that Sikh is another word for Sunni Islam. And then proceeds to lecture him on not lying about who he is.

He basically reiterates he is not a muslim and her response is 'then why do you wear a turban?'

Well.....my friends, Sikh's are some of the nicest people I ever met, but daaaammmn, he started tearing her a new asshole.

Whatever the underlying reason, it becomes a challenge, and adherence to a standard and something that we all suffer with together. these minorities asking for special privileges and rights, are damaging the shared discomfort and challenge. They're just too special to have to adhere to the standard.

So if i were sikh, and required by my god to maintain a certain headdress and beard, and to disobey my god could mean eternal damnation, i should be forced to risk that and turn my back on my god, in order to serve a constitution that allows me to worship in any way i see fit? Cant wait till they add denying Christ publicly as a show of faith to serve, that will be one helluva day indeed. And those are not the underlying reasons for shaving and shearing the head. They are THE literal reasons, not a show of unanimity or for bonding. Just because it happens to be to some a bonding experience, does not in anyway make it a reason for it. I never bonded with anyone in bootcamp. Never saw any of them again, was there to serve my country, not to make friends.

When you join the US military, you should have to adhere to the same standards that everybody else adheres to. All of these exceptions we're making for different religions, all kinds of other stuff, it's going to lead to a weakening of the culture of the US military. Just wait till somebody's religion says that they're not allowed to sweat, or their religion says that they're not allowed to fire on another Muslim.

Islam by nature is completely incompatible with the constitution. Problem works itsef out eventually. The catch here is that God wins in the end, but for humanity it gets to be a very nasty road to get there. Eventually the U.S. will not exist, that needs to be understood from the outset of this arguement. The second that needs to be understood, is that because there are those that recognize that the u.s. cannot exist in the end times in its current forn, does not mean that they have given up on our country, nor are we willingly giving up that fighting spirit that our generations of patriots have held since our constitutions outset. After these points are recognized, and we acheive a higher social level of public service than mere arguements/debates, and actual policy making, then this discussion becomes a hellof a lot more productive. Oh, and be sure to check the guys sikh priveledge when you're foxhole is being overrun in the coming civil war, would want you offended cause he didnt shave.

You say this as if we so desperately need Sikh soldiers. Actually they should all be deported. Why do we need a single one?
