So one of the guys in my battalion is a praciticing Sikh, well not too long ago, we started working out together. And we started hanging out a lot. And our battalion because they had us on lockdown so we couldn't take block leave in the summer. We got to make up for it recently.

Well, before i left to go home, I posted a photo of one of my gym workouts with my buddy.

Well my one cousin is a complete baby freshman at a four year university and is basically drinking the kool aid, and she knows I voted Trump, and starts bitching at me as to how I can have a muslim friend and still vote Trump.

Well my buddy goes 'I'm not a muslim I'm a Sikh.' Well....she then pisses him off because she apparently thinks that Sikh is another word for Sunni Islam. And then proceeds to lecture him on not lying about who he is.

He basically reiterates he is not a muslim and her response is 'then why do you wear a turban?'

Well.....my friends, Sikh's are some of the nicest people I ever met, but daaaammmn, he started tearing her a new asshole.

No, youre taking me out of context. Let the dead bury their dead. Meaning those that will not hear will not follow, leave them be, and live as an example so that those that would see and hear, will follow, however we are not to judge those that are not of the way, that judgement is God's alone. Showing my brother his faults, after showing the way, is only for my brothers and sisters in Christ if i see them falling to sin, and vice versa, and yes i must watch myself that i may not fall back as well.

You are confusing judging sinful behavior with judging souls for eternity.

God has already judged behavior and told us what is sinful. He has already judged that worshipping false idols is evil. We are supposed to rely on his judgment on that and not our own.

I understand where you are coming from regarding your understanding, of the "let the dead..." verse, but by that logic, Christians should not oppose slavery or abortion as long as non Christians are the ones doing it. That is not how it works. (See Sodom)

Again, taking me out of context. I dont mean to let murderers be murderes, but if a man chooses to be a sikh, or even a satanist for that matter and will not follow where Christ has led, and i show the way, that is on them, i have done my part. Allowing for crimes against humanity by believers of another faith, or even our faith, is another matter entirely.

And "by that logic", i am following Christ's logic.
