I really doubt he's the only one. Think about how much money these news orgs can save by hiring unlicensed security guards.

Pinkerton, the security company 9News said it contracted with for the protest, did not reply to questions from The Post sent Sunday morning.

While Pinkerton had an active license to employ security guards in Denver, officials have no record that Dolloff had the required city license to work as a private security guard, said Eric Escudero, spokesman for the Denver Department of Excise and Licenses.

Pinkerton is going to get sued for hiring unlicensed armed security guards.

You assume he actually worked for Pinkerton. I'm calling bullshit on that part of the story. That was 9news rushing to CYA after reporter tried to cover for shooter saying he was security. Oops, didn't think that one through.

Forensic accountants will get to the bottom of that quickly, though we may not ever see the results.

But if he was employed by Pinkerton, there will be a paper trail, even if they were trying to skirt the law or pay him under the table.

I would think that if he weren't affiliated with them in any way they would have already scrambled to say so very publicly.

I think you're correct. I imagine it like this:

9news guy: Hey, Antifa bud?

Dolloff: yeah?

9news guy: Wanna come stir shit up and fuck with some Trumpers?

Dolloff: hell yeah, punch nazis, [insert lame antifa drone language here]

Shit goes down and Antifa boi pulls out gun and kills patriot. 9news guy tells cops Antifa boi is his "security" and other lies.

9news guy also lies to 9news corp and has to retract stuff. 9news corp hears "security" and says well, we have a contract with Pinkerton for that so it must be their guy. The orange shirt reporter fag was lying up a storm to save his pantifa pal. He's in it deep. I think him, shooter mcshooter nuts, and black guns matter dude we're trying hard to provoke a patriot to do something.

I'm torn between 9news guy didn't know that pantifa boi was packing or he did and that is specifically why he invited him because he bought his own lies and thought he might really need security from peaceful patriots.

I'd slow your roll there. He couldn't have been working for Pinkerton with no license, so Pinkerton - or more specifically Pinkerton's lawyers - are clamming up with this massive legal shitshow starting to rain turds on everyone involved. It would make no sense to say anything at all until more facts are known. There's a murder charge now, they're not saying shit until everyone's lawyers know what's going on, who's claiming what, etc.

It could very well be that the shithead reporter, who needs to catch an accessory charge on this, lied to his bosses that he worked for Pinkerton. Because he couldn't afford a real Pinkerton (they're not cheap), and was lying to get the station to pay for a pot head honey farmer to larp as one? Because he had the station paying Pinkerton rates, and he and his pot head buddy were pocketing it? Who knows. But best not to point fingers...yet.

A trained Pinkerton guard wouldn't have drawn on pepper spray - or gotten his client into a situation where he needed to draw. This was a bunch of dudes yelling in the street. I'm leaning towards Pinkerton not being involved at all, and will release a press statement saying as much Monday morning.

My post was a direct copy and paste from the article from the Denver Post they say Pinkerton has the contract for security.

That doesn't connect him with them, though. It just connects 9news and Pinkerton.

They may indeed be connected, but just the fact that they have a contract doesn't tie him into it on its own.

I didn't dispute that. However, these is no indication he could have worked for them without a license.

Maybe he wasn't working through Pinkerton?
