The motive was pretty clear to me, they were looking for trouble. In this video preceding the murder the two were seen tailing what people earlier called a "right wing militia" group:
Notice the shooter's extreme peripheral vision despite the completely peaceful scenario. Exactly 60 seconds later after they march through something leads to a confrontation and within 30 seconds of that interaction a shooting happens. The entire area is previewed in this video and shows no one arguing, no one confronting anyone and people walking normally.
It's the little asshole who is screaming "Mace me nigga! Mace me"' He's the same guy seen shortly after the shooting celebrating it, saying something like "white supremacist took one to the dome" and other shit.
You can also see him a few minutes before this incident trying to pick a fight with another member of the group. He's a known agitator, most likely paid, who has shown up at several of these type events trying to pick fights. The guy at PTNews knows his name, he said it last night.
I'm convinced him, the shooter and probably the reporter were an Antifa hit squad. This is what they went there to do, goad one of the members into a confrontation giving them a reason to shoot them.
I'm trying to make a very important point clear as possible: the video from 53:37 onward rolls for 120 seconds when the shooting happens. Before that occurred the camera that was filming recorded the entire area and the agitator was nowhere to be found. How did a guy who reached that spot presumably 30 seconds after that group marched through start a confrontation and why was the shooter and his client so interested in that spot when the video clearly shows at 53:40 that they were very interested in following the group but for some inexplicable reason decided to remain at that exact spot they appear in the video for 2 whole minutes. Any real journalist would have continued tailing them, what was so interesting about that exact spot that the camera and "guard" decided to stop? The video passing through the shooting scene shows nothing was going on there until the shooter and his client showed up.
You can see orange backpack guy and the shooter early on at 6:55 - 10:19 - 12:02 standing with the Antifa black block in the area of the bogus "soup drive". Looks like after that they made their way to where the Patriot group was walking through.
I've looked repeatedly around the 53 minute mark to see where they came from. They weren't tailing behind the group, so they must have been waiting there, but I can't spot them for the life of me. Orange backpack, blue shirt guy really stands out, but I see him nowhere until we see him at the 53:37 mark. Looks like the shooter said something to backpack guy and they hang out there.
My guess is they were waiting for the "mace me nigga" paid agitator. He had already had one confrontation with a member of the group. Looks like the paid agitator was with the other group though. I think they were looking for him, but he wasn't in that group, so they had to wait.
Yes that's my assumption as well, 30 seconds to start a fight basically requires you to show up, get in people's faces and start pushing and shoving in one fluid sequence. Everyone needs to realize the agitator that showed up required at least 30 seconds to arrive at the shooting location where we clearly see he is not present. By the end of the 30 second encounter with the shooter a shot was fired. Explain to me how a scene that was secured 30 seconds prior ended in a shooting logically. It does not make sense.

Yep, they hung around that area for some reason.
