Where in TX would you go? Jobs and security are important- we would be raising a family
Texas property taxes are atrocious. We like visiting the northern parts of Texas - Frisco, Plano, Flower Mound, McKinney, Prosper. Driving around the metroplex is not for the faint of heart. Job outlook is very good in Texas. Go to bestplaces.com and search and compare cities - it’s a great resource for anyone considering a move.
Good points
Florida and Texas have no state taxes.
Either of those are good choices and not too drastically different than other highly populated areas.
