Part of me wants to say they're willfully ignorant, but I don't believe that's the truth. The education system never taught them right. It started in elementary school with the Thanksgiving narrative and "muh friendly natives."

The native Americans also get actual reparations from the country in a lot of ways, from reduced crime sentences to financial benefits to secluded reservations where tribal law is allowed to be the governing force.
And essentially no one argues against this either.
