I can appreciate your enthusiasm but Hispanics don't think this way. You are doing a Joe Biden. Earlier someone posted something about Mexicans and Cubans doing something for Biden in South Florida. This was easily proven false. The west coast is heavily influenced by South Americans and largely labeled as Mexicans. East Coast US is heavily influenced by Puerto Ricans and in South Florida, Cubans. Of course there are other points of origins but this is the major themes. One of the most offensive things you can equate a Puerto Rican or Cuban to is a Mexican or South American and vice versa. One of the most offensive things you can equate a Mexican or most South Americans to is a Caribbean Hispanic. There are differences. It does not mean that we hate each other. We often even intermarry but we don't consider ourselves cut from the same cloth. It would be a horrible political mistake to take a Puerto Rican governor and tout her as a representative of west coast Latinos as is would be to bring a based west coast Latino as a representative of east coast Latinos. There are different rationales for this. Some tout a more direct lineage to Spain while others are more "mulato" in that they are Latin but of direct Aztec, Mayan, etc. decent. Point of all of this is I think Sleepy Joe was trying to say something like this when he said that we are not like blacks but didn't quite know how to say it. I was born in NY from a Puerto RIcan dad Dominican Mom who's family went to DR front Genoa, Italy. live in Orlando and been all over Florida. The Cubans down there are SUPER Based thanks to Obama making that same mistake and thinking that a deal with Castro would be a good thing. Most of the Cubans down there were stripped of land, titles, houses, bank accounts, by Castro and were not looking to make nice with him. That was Obamas mistake. Trump being big time into South Florida life, understands this. He also knows the Puerto Rican thing as he is from NY. Anyway. sending you love my fellow Pede.
