Being a poll watcher in a polling location doesn't encompass that. You simply watch the process of people coming in and receiving and submitting their ballots. After the location is closed, the location manager will run a report on the machines that produces a receipt printout with total tallies for each one. You CAN take picture of those receipts before they package them up along with a data drive for each one that gets sent to the Supervisor of Elections HQ. That's where any actual counting might be done for ballots received in other manners. Unfortunately, regular "poll watchers" are not physically allowed in those locations, only actual SoE paid staff.

Same here. The only exception is AFTER the polling location has closed for that one purpose of taking pictures of those receipts, which in my case/ experience we would send to our side's campaign attorney who was collecting them all.
