The unwritten social contract is that women would be able to continue to have jobs, work and make themselves productive in the job market, meanwhile, schools would provide daycare, education, lunch and after school activities. For decades, public schools have started to renege on the social contract by adding more and more days to the schools year that are not in-school instructional days, becoming more intolerant of before and after school accessibility, lower quality of education, a lot more money from states and property taxes and lower quality teachers and fascist school district administrators. As far as I'm concerned, public education en masse just abrogated all their responsibilities and tore up the social contract. They proved they have no respect for mothers, parents, communities, our children or the "investment in the future". The state of the public education is woeful. Most people cannot afford living on one income or send their kids to private schools. So they are stuck with the subpar public education. The root cause is the teacher union who are indoctrinating students with all sorts of nauseating BLM, transgenderism, LGBTQ propaganda instead of teaching them math skills and English. The schools should be held accountable. If they cannot show proficiency in their students, take money away from them and fire incompetent teachers. It won’t happen if democrats are in control.

The schools lower the bar in math, reading, and writing so they can achieve this goal. In California, they have already proposed scrapping algebra because it is deemed too hard for some kids.
