Obamacare blows and has made private insurance plans get worse.
My health plan has gotten crappier and crappier every year since Obamacare. The only things that my plan covers 100% is an annual checkup. Go to a specialist and they'll charge you $100-$200 a pop even if it's something preventative (like a body scan at the dermatologist). Now they force you into a high deductible HSA plan because the company will throw in some money and the non-HSA plans are way more expensive and just as crappy but without any monetary incentive. The whole point is to pay you money to take a crappy plan with the hopes that you never use it.
We had a platinum plan, fully funded by our boss prior to Obamacare. Vision, dental, all covered.
Now I have a bronze plan, which I have to pay for out of my paycheck, plus it has a $7,000 deductible that I'd have to pay out of pocket before it even covers anything. No vision, no dental.
Obamacare was a fucking joke and the people who shoved it through deserve to rot in prison, at the very best.
An even better punishment would be to make them use the oh so great "affordable healthcare" they passed on us. See how long it lasted then. Lotta old folks in Congress and if they had to pay/use that shitty obomba care, they would scrap it immediately.
