Because Iran knows what Turkey is trying to do and they can't allow Armenians to go through that. We've bumped heads with Iran for 5000 years so our history goes much deeper with Iran than USA AND Iran. So thats a terrible reason.

Erdogan just even announced that Jerusalem has always been part of Turkey so that shows where his mind is. A new ottoman empire. And when that happens, they will sanction USA but it'll be too late. Then USA has to go to war.

Why would you aim to destabilize any country? Aim to take out a dictator to stabilize is a much better goal. And if nobody cares about Erdogan's Ottoman Empire beliefs and it's going to be a much bigger problem in the future.
