It’s actually insane how many people in college didn’t even say thanks when I held a door open for them. I’d take just like an awkward nod at the very least, but some people just thought it was my duty apparently. Just walked through without even missing a beat. That’s when you know a place is cucked. No gratitude, it’s just an expected behavior.

Wasn't even opening the door for her, was just on my way out of the pub and I was taught to hold the door open to let people in before you leave.
Open a door for her. If she gives you a big smile and says, "thank you," then you know.
