I figured it was probably some milquetoast statement along the lines of "We hope Trump will stay in office so we can continue peace negotiations" and the left in their delusion changed it to "endorsing."
You're probably right. I didnt think about the talks he was trying to get done and the shaky agreements in the region. I think I remember the Taliban leader giving a statement to that effect in 2018
I am not up on Taliban that much but it's mostly just Afghan elders and random warlords. I doubt there is a Taliban president for instance. They are very decentralized last I checked. Honestly I don't give two shits about the Taliban so am not the best source of in depth info.

If they endorsed Donald Trump then why are they waiting to make a peace deal untill after the election? They have been cut off from all major supplies across the globe. An they can do nothing about it besides make rugs and hope someone in town buys from them. They are completely fucked if DJT gets back in office. They will have no choice but to make a peace agreement or live out the rest of their shit hole lives as they have done for the past 1000 years.
