Honestly NG troops should be placed at every polling location. Especially at swing state polling stations.
Especially in rust belt states and Pennsylvania.
If we were REALLY serious about wanting a fair election, we would put ICE agents, AND National Guard troops, at polling stations in states with large populations of illegals, and federally REQUIRE all voters to produce proof of citizenship when voting. If CA doesn't like it, they can try to secede then and watch what happens.
We have accepted the situation for far too long where corrupted blue state leaders blatantly allow millions of foreigners to vote in US elections and nobody does jack shit about it. It is an absolute outrage and there is no other country on Earth that would tolerate it. It is CHEATING, right in the open, and it shouldn't be allowed, and if we DO allow it, we deserve what happens to us.

I'm for the SCOTUS as well. It seems to be a sleeper killer move for Trump that came out nowhere too.
If the American flag ever becomes electioneering then the pushback should be strong.
If it ever gets bad enough that even a state and federal level bars you from wearing the flag, then the country is broken and on fire.
As someone who's never gone to a polling site before (thanks mail-ballot state!) why do you have to remove your campaign apparel? I'm assuming that it has something to do with keeping your vote anonymous but I don't actually know for sure.

I guess I feel like this is kind of an arbitrary rule. Is there anything stopping people from setting up across the street and spouting their side's campaign slogan at the top of their lungs? Do campaign ads on the radio suddenly stop on election day?
It's just odd to me. That's all.
Still, I'll make sure that people I know in other states are aware of this rule and encourage them to spread it as much as they can.
Unfortunately, just like every other part of the internet, TD.win is not free of keyboard warriors that like to talk big and lash out at anyone that says something they don't like. There are sheep in every group, no matter what the cause.

I think you brought up an excellent point. I know my polling place is in a local church and from where you park to where you enter the church to vote is lined with campaign signs right up to the 100 ft mark where the "no display zone" starts.
It's possible to wear a red hat to vote and everyone will get your meaning.

Think of the bad old days and stalking, identification and intimidation. Poll workers are not always aware of people on the fringes of crowds or near the entrances where voters pass by. The harassment could be racial, related to labor unions or just local tyrants. Goes both ways.
Someone wearing visible icons for A might make rude eye contact to plant the idea that if you vote B they will know somehow and you are already identified.
Someone wearing B icons just to declare their support not only invites identification and targeting, but they themselves might give out signals by mistake that get viewed with suspicion. This may sound silly but these are enlightened times.
People with no visible political symbols or declarations or slogans heard coming together to do the deed and leave is what they want.
So shouting "Make America Great Again!" in a polling place is bad manners. And they don't want your hat to whisper it either. It's like a bomb joke in an airport thing, where you receive a calculated and very unpleasant over-reaction.
In Virginia, You can keep your hat on. Likewise, your button, t-shirt, or sticker. It seems that this is not common -- but it is true in Virginia. * Suh.*

It doesn't assert that. It merely carves an exception for simple wear of apparel and gear.

Lady pede here. I applied yesterday and got an email with a form and W4 to fill out and get back to them so they can place me in a location I'm comfortable with. I'm in a wheelchair until the end of Nov. so I can still sit and check names and ID. in Arkansas w evote then slide their forms into a machine that holds them til polls close. I'll do you all proud, I promise.

We need more of us to do this! Like literally every polling station in every spot. Election workers, government workers tend to be democratic, VERY democratic. Read 'cheaters'.

Use the ERASER TOOL and make sure ALL the parts of letters are erased to white. I see it over and over again where people use a tiny thin black line squiggle to black things out. IT DOESN'T WORK. YES I KNOW WHAT CITY AND STATE THIS PIC REFERENCES.
Alternatively you can use a solid black rectangle over the info or even use the "smudge" tool if you really work it over.

My friend in NV is assigned to scanning drop off ballots so people can't vote in person also, but someone can drop off unlimited ballots no questions asked.
Our SOS tried to make it so a person dropping off more than 10 would have to identify themselves. But because of emergency declaration on covid, the governor said no

I got question. Last election at the polls this disabled guy in a wheel chair came in with his parents, the dad and him both had ballots, but the mother didn’t, she filled out the ballot for her son, she was an illegal immigrant. Is that allowed? I almost said something, but didn’t say anything since the poll workers allowed it. Mind you I’m in a liberal shithole.
