I like that image because a lot of them like to act like such deep thinkers, and simply saying "hello" could make them come up with a dozen questions like "why did they say hello?" "what did they really mean?" "how should I reply?"

Because the concepts of microagressions, ingrained racism, invisible privilege, and cultural appropriation essentially necessitate evaluating every given statement for whether it breaks the eggshells.

When you also add the way that the craziest of them stretch catcalling and sexual harassment to cover "a guy chatted to me when I wasn't feeling like talking," or "some dude I find unattractive showed interest in me," you also have to be subconsciously worrying whether any attempt to reach out to someone is going to get you in trouble. So any social interaction has to be constantly read for imagined double meanings.
