You could stop at any minor point in this film and spend more than 6 hours reviewing what happened, the story behind what they merely mention at certain points. The 17 intelligence agencies report, Crowdstrike and Jeff Sessions points barely last a few seconds but are entire scandals on their own that you could a textbook on.
Still, it's the most concise account of a fraction of Spygate. I noticed they failed to mention foreign intelligence involvement apart from just Steele and the story Papadapolous story. These lies were brewed at home but it wasn't just American involvement that created this aberration. There was international help recruited to create this "Frankenstein" as someone called it. Until that is exposed we haven't concluded the story. People do not yet realize and refuse to accept that foreign intelligence had a role in all of this. The entire story is not yet finished. There's still so much more to uncover and you betcha there will be more fake scandals paving the way.
Then there is what you mention. The other side of the coin. "Allies" weaponizing their intelligence and spies against the united states.
