The #1 Key Demo that hates Trump is people under 24 years of age. In 2016 these people were 16% of the electorate. This time around they're 14% of the electorate based on the available data we have on who's already registered to vote next month.
That's a 2% reduction in the "Orange Man Bad" demo.

You have to compare this week's polls to the same poll conducted by the same people, in the same way, on the same week of October in 2016.
Comparing this week's polls to election results is ill advised.
So, when comparing to his same polls from 4 years ago, Biden's lead is smaller than Hillary's at this same point before Election Day.
