I know the media focuses on suicide because it’s something concrete and measurable. But forcing people into isolation and causing them prolonged psychological distress, while much harder to measure, is also a very real and damaging thing. Also, it can cause a tremendous amount of hate and anger directed at those who created powers they don’t actually have to do that to you.
