Has it ever occurred to you that choosing the lesser of two evils is still evil, and going to hirt us in the end?
Are you suggesting that Judge Barrett is evil, or that we just shrug our shoulders and resign ourselves to whatever the left deems our future should be?
And for the record, hirt is generally spelled with a U.
I never said either of those things.
There are more than those two options right? I never even said Trump shouldn't put her in. I only wanted to examine the wave of total support for a person we know nothing about...and neither does Trump.
Sorry for the spelling error. My phone isn't great, but it's the only way I could comment during my lunch break.
Do you have confidence in the President? I’m not sure how you support the statement that the President knows nothing about the person he just nominated for one of the most important positions in the land; unless you have no confidence in his decisions.
He nominated her for a federal judge position in May 2017, after 11 months he put her on the list for potential SCOTUS nominees. She was under consideration for the position Kavanaugh ultimately got; she has 3 years of work that can be reviewed, including her 2017 confirmation hearing. With a group of well qualified potentials, he chose her to replace RBG. If you know nothing about her, that’s your problem - there’s plenty to review. Do you think the President just flips a coin, or throws a dart at a board to choose SCOTUS nominees?
Which judge did you have in mind instead of Barrett?

What about that other Trump appointed judge, Stickman? You know, the guy saying that covid lockdowns are unconstitutional, unlike ACB.
I have confidence in POTUS, confidence that he will do the right thing most of the time; but that doesn't mean I can't be skeptical at all.
