Oh yeah definitely, I've got a 3/4 sleeve and probably 10 more tattoos and did almost all of them stone cold sober. I wasn't talking about the tattoos though, I meant that the brainwashing alone is more than enough to make these women mutilate themselves like they're one of the Mason Family girls.
You're right about them all being...at least unstable. God, I remember my niece getting her tongue pierced her senior year. My brother and I were pretty merciless in asking questions of her and her friends just to hear the lisps...and laughing at them. Her Mom tells us to stop harassing her, and we're like "Not a chance in hell." My brother's first tat was supposed to be a "money maker," but it wasn't, 2nd one was the fouled anchor and chain, don't remember all of them. But my old man got the Fouled Anchor and Chain just before he started a War Bond tour to look older...he was 17. He told me it was a mistake when I was 4, and pretty much every time he talked about it afterwards.
