You're right about them all being...at least unstable. God, I remember my niece getting her tongue pierced her senior year. My brother and I were pretty merciless in asking questions of her and her friends just to hear the lisps...and laughing at them. Her Mom tells us to stop harassing her, and we're like "Not a chance in hell." My brother's first tat was supposed to be a "money maker," but it wasn't, 2nd one was the fouled anchor and chain, don't remember all of them. But my old man got the Fouled Anchor and Chain just before he started a War Bond tour to look older...he was 17. He told me it was a mistake when I was 4, and pretty much every time he talked about it afterwards.
