During the Kavanaugh fiasco, she actually implied that whether Kavanaugh committed anything is irrelevant, that he should be rejected anyway because other men are assaulters.
This is a Senator, one of the people responsible for writing the fucking laws of the nation, advocating collective punishment of innocent people based on their gender.
She also said that in cases of sexual assault allegations, men should just "shut up" about it, and presumably accept allegations as always true.
She's a total moron, hyper-leftist ideologue, and a comically bad legislator.
It's changing. Hawaiians are tired of the lockdowns decimating their livelihoods, businesses and jobs. The homeless are everywhere even in affluent neighborhoods.
Hawaii according to the polls is turning red.
Here's a recent Oahu Trump train, one of many with thousands of Trump supporters outing themselves and answering the call
I lived on Maui from 93' - '98 and even back then, it was a liberal run shit hole full of racist locals who hated white people (haoles). Coincidentally, my daughter asked me today if I would ever go back to Hawaii and I told her "HELL NO!"
They are low energy losers who may not fully recognize how shocking the rally footage is.
Questions for you, and some background. I grew up in Hawaii, but what I know of election season there is definitely dated (70s and 80s). Back then, sign waving was a common thing, but usually one or two people at a street corner or on an entry ramp to the H-1, etc. Or that one perennial candidate sitting on his chair in Aiea every weekday morning. Sometimes you'd see 6-12 people doing sign waving outside of a campaign office, too, but for short periods of time. Candidate t-shirts were not all that uncommon to see on people at the mall or beach. In my time there, I never saw anything even remotely approaching these Trump rallies. Large gatherings for caucuses, yes, but nothing organic and citizen-based like this. Is this a new phenomenon? Was there any energy like this during Barry's campaigns?
Also, I saw a few videos of the rally ~ 3 weekends ago - included large streetside rallies in Mililani and Hawaii Kai (not too surprising, I guess). A large sign waving in Nuuanu (pretty surprising to me though I know the Nuuanu that I knew has gentrified a lot). Saw a small anti-Trump / BLM counterprotest in Waimanalo (not surprising). But what floored me was footage of large streetside rallies in Waianae and Nanakuli. Am I reading too much into this, but is there significant support in those towns? Those rallies, in my opinion, were earth-shattering in their possible implications.
Just saw this. To answer your question, I wasn't there to how 2016 went.
I can say that these events are being held several times a week across the island.
Some larger than others. It's very grassroots and many people are tired of being silent and know everyone needs to come out showing support to let others know they are not alone.
There is significant support in most area's. A lot of people are also tired of the lockdown restrictions. Here is an example of why even normies are pissed. So Hawaii locked down, opened, then locked down again and is opening with restrictions. At one point after soft opening you could only go outside or somewhere alone. You could not go outside with another member of your own household. That's right. There were married couples working out at the parks even social distancing and they were given tickets. There was a woman with her baby that got a ticket because they were the same household. Even many lefties got enraged by that restriction. Also millions in CARE funding is unaccounted for.
It's been very satisfying and encouraging watching the footage just keep coming out of Hawaii. Every weekend, there's something new and the rallies are big.
Sadly my Hawaii for Trump flag won't arrive in time for our Trump Train in VA tomorrow. Maybe in time for the DC Beltway Trump Train next weekend!
You're on. But first, tell me how many Hawaiians for Trump events have you been too. I'm betting zero right poser. Tell me which ones and what dates because we both know you have not been representing MAGA since you made that comment.
As beautiful as the islands are, we'd never go there. Too many people I know have said the same thing. It's a shame, but that's what you get when you elect Dems. Just look at California, what a shithole.
They defintely don't like Mainlanders because people like Zuckerberg, Oprah, Obama and other rich tools, raise the cost of living in a state that already would have high cost of living because its an Island.
I know Islanders that work their ass off to provide and get by and are told they need to pay more. Normally if it was Cali or NYC, I'd say move out but in Hawaii that isn't necessarily an option. catching a flight and uprooting a family isn't easy when you are in the middle of the ocean.
But to your point people like Hirono and these idiot leftists are of no help to the residents.
Understood. However, I uprooted myself from OK > WA > CA > back to WA.
I don’t have a family so admit it’s easier. Just think Americans need to begin dreaming bigger is all. This ain’t communist China (Reno 911 reference). We are free to live where we please.
Ok, I get what you're saying . I agree with the sentiment but I do think a different approach is needed for the people of Hawaii. My reasoning being that if you live in a place that eventually costs too much or is no longer financially possible for you to continue to live there (whether its a job loss or a death in the family), my advice would be move 30 mins away or look to pack up and drive or rent a uhael to a cheaper cost of living.
In Hawaii, that physically is not possible. I am not stating places like NYC, hawaii, LA or Dallas are bad places because of the cost. Demand creates hgiher prices. Deal with it. In hawaii, that literally puts families in the whole in a matter of years and they have no place to go.
"Mainlanders" or "white people" are a source of islanders frustration while not rightfully so I am just stating the reason behind it isn't just some typical snowflake reason.
Agreed! Outside of the touristy areas, some of the local neighborhoods resemble 3rd world shit holes. I moved back to the mainland as soon as I graduated high school.
Sad but this part is absolutely true. If you're not local Hawaiian watch your ass where you walk at night. Homeless literally shit in front of the Waikiki Police station nightly and the cops won't arrest them because their is no point. Liberal city. That doesn't happen in Ko'Olina
Ige is the worst and stupidest governor in the nation. He makes Gavin Newsom look like Kristi Noem.
30% unemployment. SWAT teams running people off the beaches. 2-week quarantine under penalty of arrest. (Seriously, if you check into a hotel or condo your key card works for one day. Try to use it on the second day, go to the front desk for a replacement, and they call the police.) Now Kauai is actually entertaining letting visitors come if they wear an ankle bracelet so they can't leave their hotels. Tourism down 99%, and like you said, it's not as if tourism is a big industry in Hawaii or anything.
The gross state product is down to 2012 levels. In other words, 8 years of economic growth have been completely wiped out. All because of 172 official deaths (which probably means 40 deaths) among 1.3 million people. Fucker needs the Mussolini treatment.
This is true and needs to be spread. Housing prices are plummeting. Older workers being laid off permanently and going on welfare. Homeless is higher than California per capita. The police literally enforce covid laws/regulations only against tourist because homeless can't pay and locals know the cops mother in-law.
Now with all of that being said, Hawaii is turning red. Even locals are tired of Ige's bullshit while losing their homes.
There are Trump supporters everywhere now, Kailua, Waikiki, Ewa, etc...
1st, troglodyte, don't disrespect the Queen of a Kingdom that gave up it's sovereignty to join the United States of America.
2nd, yeah, it was low hanging fruit but here at thedonald, a website dedicated to Donald Trump you should model after him and respect the states in our Union.
Man, I went to Highschool on Maui and I can remember at least 50 instances where I was randomly assaulted and forced to defend myself just because I was a 'fuckin haole' with a southern accent who didn't speak pidgin. I did meet alot of good people there but the blatant prejudice towards white people is real and unavoidable if you live there.
Unfortunately if you're not in a private school or affluent neighborhood in Hawaii that is what happens. Feel your pain brother. Glad you made it out of pidgen land okay.
Yeah, he did, 100%. It's true though for some but not all.
Beginning of the 1st lockdown Hawaiians drove around the airport and hotels telling tourist to go back home or pay the price.
Early on several families including children where assaulted by locals at parks and beaches. One man from Illinois stabbed and run over by truck in front of his family by a local yelling go home.
Well, that part I get, but the main point I was getting at is that if you want to disprove the entire racist thing... you kinda gotta act centered and try to be as neutral as possible when doing stuff online where race basically doesn't exist.
That said, I'm not surprised by this given Hawaii's history, and that's something that needs to be looked into to see if there's some way to change it for the better.
I'm just speaking from my own experience here but I rarely came across someone of full native Hawaiian descent. I knew people with Hawaiian in their bloodlines (I even had a girlfriend who was part Hawaiian) but this was usually mixed with Polynesian, most commonly Tongan or Samoan. Occasionally there would be some Filipino or Japanese or even Portuguese in the mix somewhere.
let all your friends know it's people like your senator who will cause people like me to avoid coming out to the islands and spending our money. Also it's people like Hirono responsible for that ridiculous Honolulu train to know where well maybe connecting some shady areas to the malls
It's hard for mainlanders to understand Hawaii politics, but Hawaii is turning red. Video from the other week of thousands of Hawaiians in Oahu coming together for Trump. Spread the word and let red Hawaiians know they are not alone.
I'm glad to hear things are changing out there. Back in the 90s, when I could get a kama'aina discount for being a resident, it was hard to find a Conservative anywhere.
Sorta true but, there are many good Americans still there. More than you may think. Look at this Oahu Trump train and tell me what you think. Seriously, put your money where your mouth is.
She’s the least of their worries. The governor, Lt Gov, and mayors can’t figure shit out. Was stationed there for 3 years and broke my heart to see Food Lines at Aloha Stadium stretching onto the H1 at 0600, bc they closed down tourism due to a Chinese virus with a 95% survivability rate.
Yeah, they also closed the H3 and used it for covid testing, found 100+ positives after tens of thousands of test and close to zero deaths that week. The education system there has made the poor there dumb and some buy that shit.
But not everyone. There is a very strong red movement on Oahu and there is even a Republican Iirc Joe Akaina running for Tulsi Gabbard's seat.
I would say this is accurate based on my experiences growing up on Maui. Once I graduated high school, I hopped on a plane to Texas and never looked back.
Never heard of her before, after 2 minutes of hearing her talk i wanted to punch her in the face, something that many people have probably done already considering how flat it is.
She might be worse than Kamala to be honest. I didn't think someone could be more punchable than Kamala but guess i was wrong
One of the reasons I will not visit Hawaii is because I'm not giving my hard earned money to a leftist run island state that has this cancer cunt representing it. Hawaii's only industry is tourism and if you guys don't start turning this shit around you're states GDP will be less than that of Issaquena County, Mississippi.
Woah there, she's a low iq dipshit for sure, but don't rob yourself of the beauty of Hawaii. Just maybe stay on the rich side of Ko'olina if you're timid.
Hawaiians (some with probably minuscule polynesian ancestry) pride themselves on their islands and culture which is fine. However, they have been indoctrinated to hate whites. If the USA was to give them independence Hawaii will turn into a Venezuela shortly. Any bad player such as Russia will take them over within a century.
The Russians will exterminate the polynesians and their culture in short notice.
Hawaii was fortunate that it was western civilization that took them over and not Japan or Russia. They will of course never acknowledge this.
When those racist spam slurping locals would scream at me to go back to the mainland and how they wanted to reclaim the sovereignty of their ancestors, I took joy in telling them that if it wasn't for America, they would have been crushed under the heel of Japanese occupation long ago.
Hawaii is a shithole because it is full of morons that elect people like this to local and national government, then don't care what they do or how corrupt they are.
Hawaii has been 70-80% DEM for ages,
'THIS' is the quality of person they elect!!!
A total POS.
I was surprised she was THAT bad. I don't know much about her but Mazie Keiko Hirono is a disingenuous bitch
During the Kavanaugh fiasco, she actually implied that whether Kavanaugh committed anything is irrelevant, that he should be rejected anyway because other men are assaulters.

It appears the better you can LIE to people - the More Sociopathic you are - and the more Marxist you are - the higher you rise in the Dem Party.

I wish nothing but the best MAGA for you and your State.....
Avoid being Detroitified - at all costs!
I lived on Maui from 93' - '98 and even back then, it was a liberal run shit hole full of racist locals who hated white people (haoles). Coincidentally, my daughter asked me today if I would ever go back to Hawaii and I told her "HELL NO!"
They’re very difficult to transact business with too for us Mainlanders. Generally, they only deal with Hawaiian institutions.
That state is the epitome of the good 'ol boy system and their kangaroo courts are a joke.
And there’s a Barry Obama connection! What are the odds?

Shills on the thread. Downvoting a Hawaiian MAGA Trump train video from all across Oahu!!!!

You're on. But first, tell me how many Hawaiians for Trump events have you been too. I'm betting zero right poser. Tell me which ones and what dates because we both know you have not been representing MAGA since you made that comment.
Look buddy, I know for a fact the Hawaiian Govt passes laws that openly discriminate against non-natives. I see the election results.
I know about their culture. A large portion of them resent Americans and insist on a separate identity.
Sure you can get a rally together. But you'll never win the state because it's full of pricks. You know it, I know it, everybody knows it.
Yep, it’s a good place to get some tan for Americans and keep an eye out for enemies.
As beautiful as the islands are, we'd never go there. Too many people I know have said the same thing. It's a shame, but that's what you get when you elect Dems. Just look at California, what a shithole.

That’s why this site is great! You, sir, are a scholar and a gentleman.
I don’t claim to know everything. Just enjoy spirited debates 🤓
Outside of the expensive touristy areas, Hawaii is infested with California meth heads and racist locals.
Hawaii is becoming a shithole? It was a shithole when I was stationed there decades ago.
Outside of tourist Hawaii, its tenement and poor people.
Agreed! Outside of the touristy areas, some of the local neighborhoods resemble 3rd world shit holes. I moved back to the mainland as soon as I graduated high school.
And you definitely don't want to walk down the wrong beach at night for fear of getting beaten to death by a mob of local savages.

Schweinfurt Germany was the best place to be stationed, IMO. Had a blast in Europe!

Sounds like guys from Maui are also miserable cunts.
Based on my survey of one: you.
Yeah they hate whitey and like to break into any car that looks like a rental.
That is what you get when you take a group out of the stone age.
Go to the Pearl Harbor Memorial and read what the definition of haole means. He's right and you're wrong.
Poor attempt at revisionist racist history.

Bitch makes Hawaii leper days look like their golden era.
I can tell you don't agree with the Statehood Act of 1959.

And if no stingrays are available, a tiger shark mauling would work just fine.
