What does this even mean? Maybe the facts from this investigation fed into a bigger investigation? This sounds disappointing, but what exactly are the facts. It was a 30 second blurb on Fox

Good point - the headline annoyed me, so I figured I would share...but you're absolutely right

Yea, if there's no public report then the wheels might still be turning

Um... are you gonna throw a "tick-tock" in there? Or, were you going to go with "Trust Session/Rosenstein/Whitaker/Barr"?

I love all, Pedes and, while appreciate your curiosity on the matter, I say this with the deep love for this country I know we both share -- WAKE. THE. FUCK. UP.

Bill Barr is NOT. EVER. EVER. going to bring charges against anyone.

His job, as was Session's (and Rosenstein's and Whitaker's) is to cover up the DOJ and FBI involvement in FELONIES and TREASON so as to try to restore the integrity of these institutions. That's it. He's not going to do ANYTHING.

After everything we've learned about our government I'll never trust any of them again. It's really disappointing, I always knew there was some corruption but I thought the majority were honest and decent people. Boy was I wrong!

Maybe they know they're going to have to wait a generation or two before they'll ever be possibly trusted again so there's no point in trying to salvage any trust now. They've given up trying to fool people, they've destroyed any chance of redemption for this lifetime.

What it means is what they did was 100% scumbaggery but legal. It should be illegal and unmasking should be limited to a couple of people and be justified.

BARR IS A KING SWAMP RAT.

Trump hired him for the same reason he hired all of the other back stabbing swamp rat traitors. To reveal them to America and expose their corruption. Barr will go down with the rest of the swamp.

Trump can't appoint anyone he wants. They have to be confirmed by the deep state GOP senate.

2
Thingthing22 2 points ago +2 / -0

He can appoint acting agents if the senate drags their feet.

1
HiGloss 1 point ago +1 / -0

He appoints who he thinks are on the up and up and hasn't had a whole lot of options with everyone being a rat and all

FragrantDude 5 points ago +5 / -0

Pedes, as much as we love Trump, we may have to come to terms with the fact that he's just really bad at hiring.

Manafort got himself into serious legal trouble.

Flynn told everyone he lied. Then he told Trump he wanted to prove his innocent on his own merit.

Papadapolous is free and Trump didn't know if maybe Papadap was up to something.

Roger Stone and Bannon have fked Trump they aren't 100% team Trump.

Isn't this interfering with the election? Barr can't give an update or have a press conference on the Durham investigation, because he doesn't want to interfere with the election, but he can come out with this? He is trying to say there was no spying or crime by Obama's administration, so that it helps Biden.

This is coming from the Washington Post (people familiar with the matter):

The federal prosecutor appointed by Attorney General William P. Barr to review whether Obama-era officials improperly requested the identities of individuals whose names were redacted in intelligence documents has completed his work without finding any substantive wrongdoing, according to people familiar with the matter.

The revelation that U.S. Attorney John Bash, who left the department last week, had concluded his review without criminal charges or any public report will rankle President Trump at a moment when he is particularly upset at the Justice Department. The department has so far declined to release the results of Bash’s work, though people familiar with his findings say they would likely disappoint conservatives who have tried to paint the “unmasking” of names — a common practice in government to help understand classified documents — as a political conspiracy.

Anything come of the Benghazi Bombshell that dropped 2 days ago? They allege to have evidence and also that said evidence is in the hands of a congressman. Not sure what to think

Yeah, that has me scratching my head too.

I kind of doubt it’s anything real....but who knows I guess. 🤞

It’s all CYA at this point until the election. Lifetime swamp dwellers are protecting themselves just in case. Vote and bring a friend.

I’m so tired of everyone in upper levels of government being immune from prosecution. Why do we even have laws written for the exact crimes these assholes have been involved in? I’m beyond frustrated with the justice department (which ironically is terribly mis-named). There is never any justice for any of these fuckers. It’s no wonder it keeps happening.

WITHOUT CHARGES?!? No report, ok, cause in criminal probes, you don't issue reports, you file charges... BUT, no charges?!? UGH.....

Not a good sign when Barr expressed confidence in Wray some time ago. Hope I'm dead wrong, but I think no one significant will be charged.

2
bombthrowinggenius 2 points ago +3 / -1

Sounds like bullshit. They aren’t gonna charge people for unmasking when they are already looking at them for worse crimes.
