He's nowhere near being red-pilled today, but he already hates Obama/The Clintons/Pelosi/Schumer as much as we do, he's basically a populist who doesn't realize it, and he absolutely despises globalism. If we could get him to see the light when it comes to economics I could see him rounding the corner and making his way back towards the right side of history.

I feel the same way. His courage to challenge the establishment explains the conservative cross over appeal. Even though I think most of his policy views are shit, he still means well...usually (his views on the riots suck ass though).
He argues that America has more than enough wealth to try and maintain socialism if we stopped being so wasteful. That may be true. But he still doesn't see the longterm atrophying effect of socialism. People like him have a lot of inner guilt and they repent from it by acting like they care about everybody.
