Jesus Christ. Three more weeks of this bullshit. I fly Southwest fairly often. Hopefully I'll have this simpering twat of a flight attendant on one of them so I can express my disdain to his fucking face mask.
No, and Southwest is easily one of the best airlines. It's just that a lot of people of a certain lifestyle are drawn to that industry and they are the ones making stupid decisions like this.
That particular flight crew wanted to make a statement and they did. Let's see how it works out for them.
This is an incredibly wrong answer. You hold the entire airline responsible for this behavior. When it starts costing them millions of dollars, then they start changing their policy. Large companies have hundreds to thousands of bad employees. The better companies weed these people out and make statements condemning the bad actions of their employees.
The companies run like a wet paper bag full of feces don't do employee control well. They don't take the time to set up policies and some minimal training to ensure employees know the right way to handle this kind of thing.
In this case, the flight steward (he isn't an attendant anymore than a garbage man is a sanitation engineer) should have approached the passenger and asked if he could please put his mask on. The passenger could have said "I'm eating" and the steward could have said, "when you aren't eating, please make sure your mask is on." That would have taken care of it.
The flight steward would have known this if Southwest had made a 15 minute training video and had all employees watch it, and sign off on it. If we were in the early phases of mask mandates, it could take awhile for the company to recognize that they might have problems. At this point in time, everyone should know there are potential problems, and policies and training should have been worked out.
Unless Southwest comes out with a public apology, fires the employee and states they will make sure it doesn't happen in the future, then they are a mediocre airline at best.
Flying planes is easy. Lots of companies do it. Having decent policies to guide your employees is easy. Lots of companies do it. I would wager that Southwest is more at fault than this individual employee. This was preventable.
Since when have airlines stopped requiring their attendants to cover their tattoos? Call me old fashioned but I hate looking at them. If you wanna get one, go for it, but they don't exactly come across as professional. Like coloured hair or piercings, or even just wearing a bloody tshirt to work.
There's nothing wrong with these things, but they're not appropriate for a professional environment, and this guy looks about as professional as he's acting.
Nah, this guy now has a good chance of sueing. If they want to make a scene because you're wearing a wrong-think hat then let them, and let the world see them for the hateful shits they are.
Did you see the CEO of Netlfix is defending Cuties? And LA Times ia more than willing to spread false propaganda that this horrid movie is actually about female empowerment and NJ ot sexual at all. They know how transparently crazy they come off as, right? The whole left just seems so lost because they are either dumb enough to buy the bullshit or too chickenshit to challenge it.
This whole lockdown has some people in a weird mind space where they seem to think that just because life got turned upside down that somehow all the normal things people did before now have to be changed. Random, innocuous things like helping someone lift their luggage into the overhead, for example. Their brains just broke.
Think so? I've seen similar circumstances since the lockdown started so I wouldn't doubt it at all. A username is just a username and their other posts don't seem like bullshit.
And to be fair while many people who wear BLM stuff are not a threat, there has been far more violence from BLM supporters than Trump supporters. Riots by Trump supporters don't happen.
Used to fly Southwest a lot. After a couple experiences with uncaring people (both on the plane and off) I stopped flying with them. I don't even check their prices anymore.
This won't backfire. Southwest has already been a fad that has come and go. They used to have the cheapest prices back when they doubled down and got a good fixed gas price deal. Now their airlines are often more expensive even with a free bag and their terminals and boarding process are complete zoos.
It's the fucking flight attendants. Pilots can't be liberal retards; they have to be able to think and do math. But the flight attendants? Most of them have peaked at pointing at objects and pantomime about seatbelts. Naturally, they're more susceptible to leftist media, and they have a teensie-eensie little bit of power.
There are too many instances of Trump supporters or simply patriots wearing American flags on their masks or clothing being kicked off planes. This has to stop. I'm not sure what the remedy is, but it needs to be harsh and swift. The only way the airlines will put an end to these shenanigans is if it comes back to bite them hard!
Thing is I've yet to see in the Contract of Carriage any mask or face covering mandate. This is all shooting from the hip theater that is a request that can be refused. As we've learned from the Asian doctor that got beat by airplane "police" years ago, once you're seated & not breaking the contract it's a civil dispute.
Think more people should politely refuse any request not covered in the contract.

The type of man that ends up being a flight attendant at age 40 are sad, sad people. So they go on insane power trips like this.

Note: Put on your MAGA gear AFTER take off

Was the "you lowered your mask" just an excuse to throw him off over his politics?
Usually airlines don't hand out food until mid-flight. Easy solution, just don't start eating until the wheels are off the ground.

Interesting, what's your thoughts on the OP video?

Southwest flight attendants (males) are little fucking bitches. IMHO
Hopefully he sues the shit out of them.

Sue em
Might be a case of the racisms!

I really hope the lack of a second stimulus causes these fucking airlines to go out of business.
And they want a bail out why now?
Fuck em. Drive across the country. Its a beautiful nation.
I wonder if they have another water fountain they want him to drink out of too. So sick of these fucking Dems
Make Southwest like Pan am, history!
I think it would be fun to go on SW with a Biden mask on one person, and a Trump mask on the other, do the exact same thing and see what happens.
I am hoping this is just a crazy employee, SW is a huge organization, they cannot control rampant TDS among their employees.
