The only good "VPN" is your own "VPN". Signing into one of these companies that control the Public Key is Google 2.0. They are all honeypots competing for your data. Unless you are attempting to gain access to content that is restricted to you by external forces (which a proxy is needed not a VPN) then you don't need to put out $x for the service. You can setup an encryption server inside your network that can perform the same duties as the lying POS that are data harvesting in order to sell their customers behaviors.
TLDR; You are all idiots for buying into this VPN bullshit. VPN's are for multi-site networks not for security. Security is just required to protect the In-Network Data crossing unprotected networks.
Credentials and afterthought: I'm a network engineer.... maybe I should cash in on this VPN craze though....
I love you man but now we doing some serious nerd fighting and I absolutely cannot stand your company... I guess am a Spoiled bitch that had SonicWall before Dell bought them out... now on to the roasting...
You mean the idiots who could never figure out a working GUI? I wouldn't wipe my ass w/ that cert... Cisco still can't even figure out secure shell. Your talking to an End User Admin not an H1B Indian numbnuts...
I've been on the www since its inception. Don't use a VPN nor firewall or even antivirus software and have had no problems I couldn't deal with in short order. The only thing a VPN is good for is circumventing geographical restrictions.

A VPN is only worth a fuck if you control the private and public key.

We use PIA. Annual subscription. Works pretty good.
