Fun story: In 2013 the Colorado prison director (Tom Clements, a member of Hick’s cabinet) was executed by the parolee son (Evan Ebel) of one of Hick’s friends (Jack Ebel). Ebel had been released four years early. When this came to light, the same 9news interviewed and confronted Hick about this and Hick, on camera, threatened to cut off 9news access to the gov’s office. 9news, from what I can tell, never asked those questions again. Can’t find a video of it, but I’ll keep looking.

These vids show how weak Hick really is when pressed. Gardner should be able to defeat him, but doesn’t play hardball IMO
