Tuesday's news came after Bash resigned at the beginning of October, leading to Acting U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas Gregg Sofer taking his place.

  • if you say FOX is fake... i won't be able to dispute that. ;-)

And that source confirms what I posted and disputes your claim. Sofer is replacing Bash just as the actual DOJ statement I link to stated. It said nothing at all about Sofer continuing Bash's unmasking probe. That probé has ended with no charges and not a single leaker identified.

The Justice Department reportedly concluded its investigation into unmasking requests made by Obama-era officials without charging anyone involved or releasing a public report on the issue

Then why did you cite it? Also, you still haven't provided a single legitimate source stating Sofer is going to continue Bash's investigation on unmasking. The fact Bash left and swamp breeder Bushie Barr has said nothing about it indicates you're wrong.

I linked to Fox. The DOJ has not issued an "official statement".

I've also seen nothing proving the investigation was ended... do you have it?

Sources told The Washington Post that the investigation, previously led by former U.S. Attorney John Bash, concluded without finding any wrongdoing.
