Not to argue against the drug abuse thing, but the picture you linked clearly shows the wife with her hair and make up done for some kind of photo shoot. In the candid picture OP posted her hair’s pulled back and she’s wearing minimal or no make up. That will always make a difference.

They are both pretty obviously suffering the effects of drug abuse when you compare the photos.
