Haven't you heard? America is a service economy now. Meaning the H1B's come over, and American citizens get to serve them.

Which is exactly how it works where I am. All of those contractors getting shit on and having to deal with horrible code while making $25-35/hr? White. All of those people setting up cubicles for Deepstink and Prajunk - white. In the cafe, every employee except one is white and I think she has some sort of mental disability. And all of these people constantly get shit on by the H1B who just demand demand demand because they know that they will be served.

I remember a few years ago when Disney fired a ton of long-time tech employees and essentially forced them to train their new overseas replacements.

I'm convinced that globalists have a longterm plan that the means of production be in China (because it's already communist) the oil come from the Middle East (which is why they hate the US drilling), tech comes from the US, and basically everything else the world needs being sourced from a particular area (and no other).

It's the Hunger Games, essentially, and each District has its contribution, and the whole thing is controlled by "The Capitol." To keep the entire system under control, one need only control one District. You can shut down the entire world's petroleum supply, or the entire world's tech. Or its food.

And if you actually are so retrograde as to want a religion, one has already been provided for you : Islam. Islam is the perfect religion for authoritarian tyrants and dictators ; how often do you read/hear about moslems demanding the most basic rights that (until recently) people in the west took for granted-?

I am not joking. I believe islam was deliberately mass-imported into the west because TPTB figured moslems would make better slaves ; the whole "inshallah" attitude. They may have been wrong, but that was the assumption under which they were operating when they brought violent, entitled, mostly fighting age males into western countries, with the "refugee crisis" of 2015 being the killing blow.

We've all seen multiple news articles through the subsequent years showing that islam and moslems have a privileged status in western countries, being entitled to commit any depravity and act of violence with near impunity ("sexual emergency" ring any bells-?) ; how long before the non moslem natives realize that they could at least in theory gain privileged status by a feigned conversion-? After 2-3 generations, feigned compliance with islam would no longer be feigned, if history is any guide.

The mask mandates are probably NOT meant to aid in the spread of islam, but that is an unintended consequence. How long before the laws passed against face coverings have to be repealed as a result of mask mandates? And I have lost track of how many times I've seen volunteer slaves on reddit burbling happily about how much they luuuuuve masks, because they don't get catcalled , don't get some random bellowing "SMILE-!" at them when they're trying to go about their business, don't have to worry about their makeup or food stuck in their teeth, etc etc etc....And in the comments to these posts, there's invariably a commenter at least larping as a muslima, touting the burkha as even better.

Honestly that makes sense since the EU tried to pull the exact same thing with agriculture by legislating which countries would grow which crops, nominally under the guise of optimizing production. Thankfully the French and their love of local food told the EU to fuck off on that one.

Tech is going to leave the US as soon as they think it's viable.

Is the whole "learn to code" a meme around here?

76
FreeBased1 76 points ago +77 / -1

Yes. People say it to journalists who get laid off... And it's somehow become mean or racist or something (according to twitter

Journalists were saying job losses weren't a big deal because workers could re-train and learn to code.

But once there were some big layoffs at fake news outlets, normal people started telling ex journalists to "learn to code"

Mind you, these journalists were lamenting and complaining about being laid off...not much sympathy for them

I saw the words coming from Biden's own lips on a clip a few days ago.

And then Twitter banned everyone who said 'learn to code' to the poor journies

NPR and NYT mocked coal miners that lost their jobs during Obama's war on coal, telling them to "learn to code".

When media outlets like HuffPo and Buzzfeed started massive layoffs, we responded appropriately with "learn to code", which Twatter then immediately ruled to be rayciss and homophobic.

33
PinochetIsMyHero 33 points ago +33 / -0

"Learn to code" was started by the Left, who mocked coal miners that instead of wrecking the environment and being shitty useless black-collar workers with no future because Green Energy, they should "learn to code".

Then when a shitload of journalists from one of the Leftist garbage-news sites (I think it was Gawker, which got sued and bankrupted by Peter Thiel) got laid off a few years ago, people tweeted at them to "learn to code". Then that suddenly became "racist hate speech" because we were mocking the doubleplusgoodthink crowd.

oh god that's so typical

26
Dahnald2020 26 points ago +27 / -1

Kind of. There was an initiative to get coal miners to learn to code and now you can get banned on Twitter for telling someone "learn to code"

Dont forget the H1B workers that get their family to come over on travel visas, that DHS will not a fucking damn thing about and let them stay while they suck on welfare. That is 40% of the illegals here.

Don't forget he claimed in the debate that a million people would be employed weatherizing buildings. Of course, people already do that, but I don't think there is enough demand for another one million employees in that industry. He is totally clueless.
