It truly is incredible the DNC went this way. I lost some betting money, but I do not regret it whatsoever, if anything it just made buying up Trump even cheaper.
But seriously, maybe the DNC really did opt for the Joejan Horse method from the start. I was, as is typically with politics, naive to see what they were thinking. At the start with the primaries, Joe didn't seem that bad. But the more camera time he was given in the following months it became more and more obvious how bad things were all along.
It really makes me wonder what it would have been like if they had just gone with Hillary again - or another classic establishment name, none of these new contenders (Pete, Tulsi, Booker, Harris), hell Mike Obama would've made more sense from a "hope and change" campaign angle.
Not sure how the DNC will deal with the fact that their Black Plantation voters, obedient as they may politically be, won't actually vote for a gay man. He also looks like a child grown up with a enlargement ray. Lord knows what he did to achieve his political "success" thus far, but he's just not big-league material.
I have noticed that the people on the left just out of nowhere started talking about him a lot this week.
Is it too late for democrats to change their nominee? If not, might not be out of the question they are trying to force Pete back into the show rapidly to avoid time that people can see scrutiny. If it is too late, Biden could step down right away and Harris gets to pick her VP, would she pick Pete?
Whatever it may be, even if it is nothing, the narrative slowly shifting towards "Pete good" seemingly out of nowhere is curious. But I think what we are actually seeing is similar to what Republicans saw with Trump, that Trump overtook the republican party and made it his. We are seeing the radical left take over the democrats.
Most states won't allow a new nominee three weeks before Election Day in a national race. The only excuse would be if Biden dropped dead, and then Kamala could pick someone else to be her veep.
I would award the Best Obama Impersonation to Robert Francis Beta O'Dork. Watched him in the debates for Texas senate against Lion Cruz. It was so obvious and pathetic. You could tell he watched countless hours of tape. It failed spectacularly on the national stage.
The establishment really didn't want Sanders even though he could have energized the base enough to have a chance. The rest of the field was such a mess, Biden looked like the least objectionable choice. They just didn't know how bad his dementia already was and thought he could hold it together well past the election.
If the left didn't have big money and literally the entire media propping them up, they would've collapsed long before now just because their strategy is so bad. I still pray for that to happen.
That I thought was rather obvious - unlike all the other primary candidates, EVEN despite his obvious dementia, he has WAY more experience in government, much more establishment control and connections, and more name recognition to boot. Perhaps the Dems at first didn't realize what an uphill battle his deteriorating condition would be.
Kamala is where I lost money, I should've clarified up above, I honestly thought the Biden ticket would've been saved by a very solid and appealing pick to the middle - clearly not, in the end it was a Joejan Horse decision OR just a compromise to the new Marxist Democrats that took over the DNC since 2016 (Ohmar, AOC, etc).
The only reason Joe is the nominee is to provide cover and protection for the previous administration’s crimes. Joe is implicated, along with the rest. He has to be the nom.
Exactly my sentiments, they figure running for office is also a shield for any criticism as it's 'not fair' to bring it up or something. They're trying to preserve the brand.
The trouble is he's the best they've got. They're all so flawed. Either corrupt, senile, or radical leftist.
The most reasonable candidate they have is Tulsi, and even she is very far left. She probably gives the Democrats a better shot to win, but she has a principled antiwar stance, and the Democratic leadership can't stand that. If you aren't willing to have random foreigners killed to solve domestic political troubles, today's Democratic Party has no place for you.
I think they wanted Harris. She didn't get traction though an Tusli ruined her. They pushed Biden for name recognition and to get Sanders out of the race. They then had Biden select her as VP knowing she'd really end up being president and they still get their wish of having her installed as president if they manage to win.
Who knew when he said "I am the Democratic party" he would be so right? I can't think of a single person to better embody what the party has become than a corrupt, influence-peddling, economy-destroying, child-sniffing, credibly accused of rape, plagiarist, pathological liar, who can't remember where he is or what he's running for or why he stands for or why he walked into the room.
This guy is literally a proverbial clusterfuck. He needs to be retired and put out to pasture.

Even Bootyjudge....he was the most Obamaesque, purposely modeled his speeches from him.
They are saving him for later.
They’ve clearly spent a lot of time coaching him. He will reappear, I guarantee it.

its too late. people have started voting

Faux news has been having him on as some sort of gay DNC visionary.

I lost $20 betting against him getting the nomination. Still can't believe it

Who knew that the party of bad judgement would make a bad judgement?
Sanders never had a chance. The old people, you know, the generation who actually vote, would have voted Trump 10-1.

I would have if I could have gotten goddamned Predictit to let me set up an account.
I've suckered a leftard into saying he'll bet against me with crypto -- we'll see if he follows through, he hasn't yet.

Instead of Gorilla Glue, they could squash and cook him into Clusterflak Glue, though it might be weakish
Just put him on the Gorilla Channel and let him get monkeyhammered.

Come on, man!
He's only there to fall on the sword of failed election, no one wanted to take the fall in 2020 as it would be a kiss of death to run and lose.
Its so sad how many people are brainwashed by the media to enable this guy to even have a chance.
