Its a NWO economic crash of all small businesses. Its planned and the shill Bidens and Chinese real estate agents will buy up your properties. They must've already taken your guns since there's been no outcry.

Blue state voter fraud NWO economic takeover.

Yep bet they are all going to jump in and buy up resorts just before its reopened.

Such an easy way to make money theyll get insider info from politicians about the reopening and then buy it all up. Classic Soros/Buffett move. Then theyll say some shit like they were smart and bought at the bottom and we are all idiots for not seeing that. Then theyll get gov subsidies to boost the economt making them even more profitable.

I almost felt bad and then realized it was a Democrat complaining about the shit THEY voted for. She wants a Federal response? She's seeing first hand what one would look like in Hawaii because only a Democrat would do a Federal lock down. Wow Dems are stupid.

"At this point, I feel like the response to covid should have been managed at the federal level. This state to state bullshit is not working.

I am a goddamn American. I am entitled to the same rights as any other American."

I mean to be fair, while for the most part I think states should have to deal with their own problems, I do think Trump’s biggest flaw is that he’s too hands off. Don’t get me wrong, he is a great president, and there is nothing wrong with giving work to people under you, but for a nation-wide issue, Trump should have held a tighter leash.

He's giving the lefty states the rope to hang themselves. Hey, if Big Daddy keeps bailing his kids out of jail each time, they'll never learn not to get arrested.

100 % correct!

You don't belong on this website if you think the federal government should be telling the states how to run. I'm in Texas and no way in hell I want that. If you're in a state that voted in Democrats that's your problem. Don't make me suffer for it. Biden is literally running on Federal overreach.

Federalism

It's not that saying that I want federal overreach, but rather I felt he was just a little too passive, too hands off. I get his strategy but I disagree in terms of how "off hands" he is. There has to be a balance of course, and while I am generally pro-states rights, there are some cases where I feel like it could get too big beyond that limit.

In a perfect government, I agree with the hands off approach and let states do what they need to do, but I also feel like that there are times when the federal government should step in, and the way how Democrats deliberately let their cities burn and their economies crash just to play politics, there has to be a limit where even he has to go "STOP", and I feel like Lockdown power abuse has reached a point where it's no longer just "states rights".

I get what you're saying, but part of "letting them burn" is going to re-elect Trump. People need to see the difference of what happens when Democrats are in control. At some point, yes, the Feds have to roll in. I just don't think we ever got there.

The worst part is that news reports suggests it was regular citizens that were monitoring social media to see if people were breaking quarantine and notifying authorities from there. It was orwellian to read about

We had scheduled our wedding in HI to take place in June. It was going to cost just south of 100k. We ended up getting married in TX for a fraction of the cost. Still had 100 people, live band, etc. Instead of a HI honeymoon, we spent ten days in glorious AK!

Not going back to HI ever.

Places that rely heavy on tourism for their economy absolutely are most fucked by this.

I was born and raised in Hawaii and can speak from experience that the state is terminally leftist. They try every failed policy and blame all their failures on a nonexistent republican opposition. The state has been democrat majority since long before statehood with the occasional token cucked republican governor sprinkled in. If Barack Obama told them that sacrificing their first born son would satisfy the Corona virus, they'd probably do it. And the only ones who would object are small business owners.
