I'm in Hawaii. It's not as red pilled as people think. Whenever I go out 100% of people still wear masks, and I've still never seen a Trump yard sign or bumper sticker. I'll rarely see a pickup truck with Trump flags but that's about it. I didn't even know they were holding Trump caravans until I stumbled upon a local YouTuber posting vids.
You should get out more. I see either a mini rally or at least 2 trucks with Trump flags every time I go to the west side of the island. Plus my car is decked out in stickers and hats.
Yeah, I should get out more but having to wear my mask and being around other masked people pisses me off. I live near Ala Moana but often drive West for work; that's where majority of my Trump flag sightings have been.
Who would have guessed that a beautiful bunch of islands would be against the democrats and their Green New Deal to get ride of... let me double-check this... ah yes Planes. I dont see why they would ever need them. Surely a train would service!?!
In various places for sure. I saw one outside the Kamehameha Shopping center. Had like 40 people, all with big flags and everything. First time I saw one in person.
Weeks later, there was a Biden sign waving rally. Had like 12 people, and was very low energy, kind of like sleepy joe himself.
Hawaiian peded here (though im not from here, I will be residing for the next few years). General sentiment from what i've seen is that people are tired of the lockdowns and travel restrictions (hawaii has been suffocating because of no tourists for months now, they have basically no choice but to open back up). I've been going to the beach etc a lot lately, lots of hawaii locals hanging out in large groups, not a mask in sight. The people here by-and-large are sick of it all
There will still be enough to make it an uphill battle for Trump, although him even turning the state purple would be major news in itself.
If its any indicator, whenever there are articles posted by local news outlets on facebook about any restrictions or business closings, most comments tend to be about from people who want to just open up with restrictions
well I think it's better than nothing, but like you said it's still a battle. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but even a solid R mayor would be great for them.
That was probably the one that happened several months ago at Kahala Mall. I saw the livestream of that. It was epic to see that kind of rally in Honolulu.
Yeah, I'm actually shocked, but the 'Trump Virus' is everywhere in America
you are in Hawaii?
again, i'm shocked at how red-pilled the state has become
that's what i've been reading fren
that facebook fuckerberg built a big wall around his compound and the locals are pissed . . .
