I was in Vegas that weekend, way up the strip, and in bed when it happened. We heard a bunch of people running down the hallway, we assumed first responders that got paged, I heard they often get discounts at the local resorts.

I tried following it very closely, the really odd thing is the timeline put out by LE changed - it changed from plausible to something that made less sense. Supposedly there were some local law-enforcement already in the hotel in the security booth when either the shooting started or the alarms started going off.

So did it start cause he disabled a door alarm and then started shooting (why maintenance workers went up first), Or did the fire alarm in the room go off because of all the gunfire?
