Jill Biden carried on an affair with Biden while she was married. Jill's first husband found out about it when two things happened: Jill backed out of going to a Bruce Springstein concert with him back when Bruce was at the top of his game and popularity and a traffic ticket showed Biden was driving his corvette with his wife in the passenger seat while he was at work. He confronted Jill and she left him for Biden. Jill did the "traded up" thing and ended up being the matriarch of one of the most corrupt political families in America. Jill doesn't even love Biden because if she did, she would have stopped him from running for the presidency but she really, really wants to be First and expand the corruption for more money.
