You know what's funny? The democrat Senators are asking about stuff that is typically the area of Republicans.
Example: Senator Blumenthal starts off right away with a 2nd amendment question.
The Republican senators (Hawley, most recently) are asking and talking about life and liberty, religious freedom, etc. etc.
So we've got Republicans talking about freedom, life, the right to exercise religion.
Democrats are bringing up points that would typically be associated with Republicans.
A while ago, contraception came up, and ACB said it would be extremely unlinkely (virtually impossible) that such a case would ever come before SCOTUS. She nicely put the democrat senator in his place by suggesting no state nor senator would introduce law banning contraception, and no lower court would rule in favor of banning contraception (which would be the only way the SCOTUS would have a chance to rule on it)
Is that the "hardest" question they can come up with?
You know what this tells me? EVERYONE knows ACB is going to be confirmed. It's not even a question at this point. Not even Mittens can fuck it up.
I think that's one reason why the democrats are being "nice" to her. That and the fact she is a woman and they know they would be accused of badgering her. (And, she is pretty damn clean. No "boofing" like Kavanaugh!)

Also, the fact that their "antics" with Kavanaugh hurt them with the public. Many were outraged as to how he was treated.
