Hunter is protected. The laptop was given to (or seized by, I don't remember) the FBI. And then, like so many laptops and other devices with evidence of seemingly criminal behavior by people of a certain protected class (Uniparty), it just stays hidden.
Because my laptop is full of incriminating emails and sex videos! I'll drop it off at my local IT guy and see if he can fix it...
