Enforce it! Don’t repeal it. 230 protect small business from liability for what their users post, big business hide behind it, but it’s still necessary for small websites.
I said repeal the loophole that allows Internet websites to benefit from publisher and platform rights with none of the drawbacks from either. Remove the loophole so shit that businesses can no longer use plausible deniability to hide behind. Either you are hands off with your community, making users liable for how the behave just as they are in the real world, or take the blame for what you allow users to post. You can’t gate keep and then pretend that no one is gate keeping.
There is a sub section in 230 that grants websites the ability to curate content on their platform and deny responsibility. Saying “eNfOrCe SeCtIoN tWo-ThIrTy” isn’t actually saying anything. Section 230 has been enforced and it is why Google, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter get away with their shit.
Section 230 has a sub section that allows online websites to benefit from both platform and curator rights. Repeal that god damn loop hole; otherwise, you are just supporting that same loop hole.
They have enforced it, they need to fucking repeal the loophole for websites.

Yeah; Section 230. It just needs to be enforced...
