CLI utilities like youtube-dl may be confounding for people unfamiliar with the CLI but let's be honest... it's super powerful. youtbe-dl also supports downloading entire playlists and transcoding on the fly (with ffmpeg).
Also works with YT Music links since that's just a different frontend to YT.
