You can't hold on to a universal moral ideal that your enemies reject.

If they physically attack you, you have a Right to defend yourself.

If they call you a """racist""" because you can't find enough Black applicants, you have a Right to explain the racial statistics on intelligence, crime, etc.

I had a coworker who complained that her 3-year-old didn't seem all that interested when she tried to explain MLK's assassination and legacy. I didn't push too hard, but I did throw out, "Maybe that's because he's a toddler."
