Take guns for example.

Uh.... Guarantee the first thing ANYONE in ANY battlefield, armed with a musket will say at SOME POINT "Gee, i sure can't wait till we have a gun made that shoots MORE of these bullets before i have to load with powder, light the string(etc.)"
Hell I'll take it further back to the mayflower. Guarantee every person at some point thought "gee, i can't wait until we figure out a boat that paddles ITSELF!"
Do these people think technology was just at a standstill until liberals came along? Pretty sure almost ALL of humanity has realized technology improves, gets better, and things CHANGE!(typically for the better, not always though, clearly) Pretty groundbreaking concept i know.

Point is THEY KNEW THINGS WOULD CHANGE!!! Guns get faster and lighter, and boats and horses become automated, THAT'S KINDA WHAT THEY SPECIFICALLY STRIVED AND FOUGHT FOR!!! THAT'S ALSO WHY THEY SAY "SHALL MAKE NO INFRINGEMENT!!!!"
