Ice Cube said in an August 2016 tweet that he would “never” endorse Donald Trump. In October 2016, Ice Cube said, “Anybody who thinks I’d ever support Donald Trump for president. Do me a favor and kill yourself.”

I had the exact same experience. I laughed and went wide eyed when I heard Trump was running BUT then I started listening to him. I liked what I heard and then found out he had been saying all this same stuff for years. I just never paid any attention. Thank God for President Trump.

He also said that "Donald Trump is what America aspired to be"

So I don't know what's going on with that guy

I don't think he meant that in a positive way.

I watched the video again, he was pretty neutral. Understood the appeal of Trump, didn't want to call him racist, but he was wrong at birtherism and at saying Trump was a rich white dude who didn't care about poor people.

But then the kool aid he drank. He's afraid of the woke culture I guess.

Yeah these people are still too big of wimps to really think for themselves. Like if you don’t like trump, that’s fine as long as it’s for reasons that actually have weight behind them. Not because you’re scared of what your Hollywood buddies might think.

Interesting that even with all the money and success, “Ice Cube” still portrays himself as a thug. His language and attitude reflect that of someone who lives and is surviving in the ghetto. But, that’s not the case. He’s had money and success for decades.

He CHOOSES to come across like a thug. Remember he’s a product of Hollywood and has been a well paid celebrity for decades.

It’s the American black culture that’s promoted within their community that encourages this thug mentality. Being a thug means you are cool. Fucking other people’s bitches and “hustling” means you are cool. “Ice Cube” made a career off music and movies endorsing the thug mentality.

If he wants to “change the system” change how his community defines and measures success. Instead of acting like a thug at forty something years old and participating in a culture of drug and hustling, try to emphasize education, family, personal accountability, hard work, innovation, and other attributes that would position young black people for success.

But no, he wants to bitch and moan like a victim, “they haven’t fixed our problems yet”

Watch when they start to make changes, after that they (black thug rappers) are going to try and memory hole all the things they said about the US, Trump, women and ANY other race thats not black.
