It's like these fucking writers cannot help themselves from ruining their shows and pushing liberal SJW shit. So the new main villain is a literal Nazi trying to start a race war, starts a populist movement making "alt right" memes and says we need to "make America safe again." Rants against political correctness, calls people snowflakes and rants against immigrants crossing the border and being terrorists, and gets a fat white guy to murder a minority store clerk after watching her speeches and looking at memes. It's like the writers were hired from Huffington Post. The show turned into pure on the nose liberal cringe. Oh and surprise, one of the super heros is a lesbian now. It's so cliche at this point. Make one of the characters gay. Yawn. Zero interest in it anymore.

About to start season 2.

That’s so disappointing

I'm on the 7th episode in season 2. Trust me. It turns into legit liberal propaganda. A Nazi is a terrorist and they blame immigrants for a terrorist attack and get people looking at right wing memes to kill foreigners. It's like the dumbest liberal fantasy about right wing extremists killing people and making memes is the actual plot in the show. If you support border security you're a literal nazi supporter in this plot.

I feel the same here. Season 2 Started feeling "off" in episode 2 and 3. By the 4th episode, they had jackhammered in some weird racist storyline that made no sense and it was obvious the show was turning into a SJW propaganda shit show. I bailed at that point. It's a shame because season 1 was an irreverent take on superhero movies that poked fun at the hypocrisy rampant in SJW culture. Another show with potential flushed down the drain.

I watched the first of the cast/crew interviews for season 2. The host, Aisha Tyler was total sjw cringe, which sucks cuz I loved her in Archer. And the writer/creator of the show, Eric Kripke is a total TDS cuck.

There are entire industries devoted to Adding woke bullshit to Media...there is no point in it if the show dies on the vine, the 1st season was left wing propaganda as well...

Interracial couple Weak white Male protagonist Strong female co star Evil hypocritical Christians FBI good.

I enjoyed the show despite it going over the top at times with PC BS. The lesbian character is a lesbian in the graphic novel series as well. Her having a rainbow burger was a hilarious dig on capitalism not really giving an F about special interest groups and just trying to sell products. Butcher was awesome. Homelander was pretty fun. I think that you(OP) are getting hung up on special interest groups being the new guerrilla advertising. Season 2 had interesting commentary on the role of family. I don’t want to say too many more spoilers, but the show was everything it set out to be.

Keep telling yourself that. Libtards love this season for "triggering" people who are fed up with non stop woke bullshit because they think it holds a mirror up to them and shows them they are fascists if they don't agree with the ridiculous social message. The whole premise is that superheros are products run by a shitty company, so one joke about a rainbow burger making fun of "woke capitalism" doesn't really make the criticism even by any stretch. Another show down the drain for cramming TDS nonsense down everyone's throat. Didn't care about the character twist at the very end.
