If no internet is because the power is off, it brings up a few considerations. Electricity out, fridge issues, other utility issues. I am on a well, if no elect, no pump, so no water. No heat? Stuff like that. Maybe markets would close if they had no power? I can imagine a store trying to operate on a cash basis, no one has much cash, ATMs aren't working, and stores with a lot of cash would probably get robbed anyway. it would be a good idea to at least have a few jugs of water and canned food, and pet food, to last a bit. And fill up your gas tank.
