I've worked on campaigns in the past and in-person interactions with potential voters is a big deal. It makes people feel valued and more involved in the process. People don't realize how hard it is to get people to actually vote. Many talk a big game about politics but then don't vote. It always happens every election. You need real enthusiasm to actually get people to the polls. Hate isn't enough.
