As damning as the information is, it doesn't teach us anything new. We've known the Biden family sold influence for years already, and that Hunter Biden is a crack head. The emails only serve to prove that water is wet. And most of all, it alone won't flip Biden supporters.

BUT... the way social media is censoring it is unprecedented. Their methods are indistinguishable from the apps used in China. I personally didn't care much for this story, since it didn't reveal anything new. If there's anything that actual (non-leftist) liberals should care about is how US tech is trying to become the DNC's Tencent.

Disagree. Even bigger story is the corrupt FBI sat on this for a year and now there’s finally proof

iirc we all knew Biden lied about that. The photographs of Joe Biden with the Burisma execs playing golf, etc. The emails just gave us more detail on an issue most people have already made up their minds about :\

Agreed. The story has become about Twitter and Facebook's behavior more than the actual NYP story. This brazen, over the top censorship is unacceptable and has the potential to destroy our country if it keeps going unchecked. Ministry of Truth, social credit scores, punishing wrong think, all these things are real possibilities if we don't push back hard against these tech companies.

Bingo. Big Tech has now taken final editorial approval over every media outlet in the nation and even individuals that want to share information between each other. It happened today. The world changed.

Section 230 has been inconspicuously absent in recent months.

GOP threatens to repeal 230. Zuckerberg folds and says he won't censor. Everyone stops talking about it. A month later, Zuckerberg is like "jk I'm actually gonna censor"- but the rapid news cycle has DC focused on other things.

This is the perfect chance to bring 230 back into the discussion. Moderates have already started to wise up to the fact that big tech isn't just censoring conservatives, they're censoring anyone who criticizes the DNC/CCP.

Hopefully this is a zietgeist moment that finally pushes things forward this time.

Honestly, at this point i think Big Tech is just lowkey sucking up to Trump or something, they must surely know this censorship will get points for Trump and make Biden lose points.

They are either very sneaky, very stupid, or they think/know they are extremely powerful.

Similar with Obama. The biggest scandal of the Obama/Biden admin wasn't all the scandals, it was that the press ran cover for them for 8 YEARS, then turned right around and went as hard as possible on Trump to distract from and cover up their covering for Obama.

There is new info, and that is the proof that Joe was involved, in multiple levels. We always suspected because the circumstantial evidence was so strong, but here we have written proof.

Pure election meddling. Ban all these companies

I disagree. The information drop proves that if Biden wins China controls the White House. He would sell America to the highest bidder

But what can we do? Can we say that big tech has too much influence and now needs to be government regulated.
